Creator & community guidelines
goof.gg should be fun for a wide audience. These rules apply to every game made with the AI Game Maker app and shown on goof.gg.
Last updated: 14 October 2026
What is welcome
- Original games, characters, stories and art you made or have the right to use.
- Cartoon-style action and silliness: cartoon fights, explosions, battles with made-up characters and mild peril.
- Humour and memes that do not target people.
What is not allowed
Violence and dangerous acts
- Realistic, graphic or gory violence, torture, or cruelty to people or animals.
- Games that encourage self-harm, dangerous challenges or illegal drug use.
Sexual content
- Sexual or pornographic content, nudity, and anything sexualising minors.
Hate and harassment
- Content that attacks or demeans people for race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or similar traits.
- Bullying, threats or games built to harass a person or group.
Real people
- Real people shown without their consent, including mocking, impersonating or targeting private individuals.
Scams and harmful code
- Scams, phishing, fake prizes, or asking players for personal details or payments.
- Malware, hidden tracking or data-collecting code, or code that tries to break out of the game.
Spam
- Mass-produced near-duplicate games, repeated re-uploads, or games made only to push traffic elsewhere.
Copyright & brands
Do not use copyrighted characters, music, images or logos, or real brands, without permission. Invent your own. If you remix a game, respect the original creator's work.
Honest titles and covers
A title, cover and description must describe the game you actually made. Misleading titles or covers, fake ratings and pretending to be another creator or game are not allowed.
Age suitability
Games should suit a general audience, including teenagers. Keep content free of anything that would not be appropriate for young players. Games for adults only do not belong here.
Reports and removals
- Anyone can report a game by emailing hello@goof.gg with the game link and the reason.
- We review the report. We may leave the game up, ask the creator to change it, hide it, or remove it.
- For serious or clear violations, we may remove a game right away without warning.
- If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message and we will take another look.
Repeat violations. Creators who break these rules more than once can lose access to the Creator Program and may have their games removed.
